Cheese Cast with Robot O

It’s the Cheese Cast with the announcement that I’ve been dreading to make, but have to: We won’t be able to keep our regularly planned weekly updates.

For regular listeners, the concept of us having “weekly updates” has been a bit laughable, given that we missed the entire month of February. But to sum that month up – dern’s computer died, and it’s the machine we use to record episodes. It’s also the machine used to store the recorded files, so some time was spent recovering those files. Then O died. Or at least got really, really sick. And through this all, there were deadlines.

Dern makes the point in the podcast that we’re not Podcasters who make webcomics, we’re webcomickers who make podcasts. Priority No. 1 with us will always be getting the comic out to you on the days we promise. Right now, those days for Hello With Cheese and Commissioned are Monday-Wednesday-Friday. And we do that without fail. In between that grind, we need to do things like prepare for conventions and make physical comics. And there’s also two secret projects that have reached a tangible state now. We should be making announcements about them in the next couple months. For now, you’ll have to trust me – they’re worth us taking breaks from the podcast for.
